Residential services - Cart Information
Meet Your Carts.
Choose the right size, learn how to care for your carts and make sure they're ready to roll on collection day.
Cart Care
A Little Cart TLC Goes a Long Way.
Occasionally rinse your cart with soap and warm water to help control odors. Bagging household waste before placing it in your trash cart will also help keep your container cleaner between collection days.

Find the Right fit
Choose the Cart that Works for Your Household

32 Gallon Cart
A smaller option for households that generate less weekly trash.

64 Gallon Cart
A mid-size option offering additional capacity without taking up as much space as the largest cart.

96 Gallon Cart
Our largest residential trash cart for households that regularly need more capacity.
Keep Wildlife Out of Your Waste.
Residential curbside customers within the Town of Vail are required to use certified wildlife-resistant containers for trash and applicable recycling. Containers placed at the curb must also be permanently marked with the property's street address and unit number.
